Local H is a legendary American rock band formed in 1990 in Zion, Illinois by guitarist and vocalist Scott Lucas. Known for their raw, high-energy sound and unorthodox two-piece setup, Local H broke through in the ’90s with their breakout album As Good as Dead, featuring the alternative rock staple “Bound for the Floor,” which cracked the Top 5 on the Billboard Alternative chart.

The band followed up with the critically acclaimed Pack Up the Cats and has continued to evolve over the decades with a string of acclaimed releases, including Here Comes the Zoo, Twelve Angry Months, Hey, Killer, and Lifers. With Lucas as the band’s constant driving force, Local H remains a staple of American rock—delivering loud, honest, no-nonsense live shows that have earned them a fiercely loyal fanbase.
