Speak Out For Sanctuary For Billy & Tina

The Los Angeles Zoo covertly moved Billy and Tina to the Tulsa Zoo in the middle of the night despite ongoing public outcry and calls for their release to a sanctuary. It's not too late to get them to the sanctuary they deserve after decades of suffering at the L.A. Zoo. Billy and Tina remain under the constructive custody of the City of Los Angeles and the L.A. Zoo Director. The City Council can still pass Motion 25-0446 calling for a full assessment of relocation options for Billy and Tina.

The Tulsa Zoo already houses five elephants in a space that’s too small and barren to meet elephants’ needs. Now with the addition of Billy and Tina, their environment is just as impoverished and inadequate for elephants as the L.A. Zoo.

Let’s show up and speak up for Billy and Tina! Join us in demanding that the L.A. Zoo be accountable for its lack of transparency. The zoo director needs to give these elephants a chance to recover and heal in a true elephant sanctuary, #NotAnotherZoo.
