Faith Talk: Cultural Responsive Teaching Practices

Join us for our next Faith Talk on Sunday, September 28th at 9am. This week's presentation and conversation will be led by Dr. Katy Long on the topic "Culturally Responsive Teaching Practices."

Dr. Katy Long is an experienced educator with a demonstrated history of working in K-8 settings and the higher education industry. Skilled in curriculum development, best teaching practices, pre-service teacher training, Inquiry-based learning, cooperative learning structures, best practices for teaching English Learners, and relationships. Strong education professional working on a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) focused in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in K-12 Education from Grand Canyon University.
