The Islamic Education Center Arbaeen Walk For Peace and Unity (multi-faith welcome)

I am not the host of this event, but we want to post this so people can see and be reminded of this peace walk.

The Islamic Education Center invites the community to join the Arbaeen Walk for Peace and Unity on Thursday, August 14, beginning at 10:30 a.m. The walk will start at Village Hall and follow a route east on Fullerton Avenue, south on Glen Ellyn Road, and east on Burdette Avenue, concluding at the Islamic Education Center at 1269 Goodrich Avenue.

This public event welcomes people of all faiths and backgrounds, encouraging us to come together in the spirit of unity and peace. The Village of Glendale Heights is proud to support this meaningful walk, celebrating the strength and harmony of our diverse community. Please drive with caution during the walk. Police and safety personnel will be on site assisting with traffic control and safety.
