Youth Mental Health First Aid - For Community (Glencoe)

YMHFA – 2B CONTINUED Office, Glencoe – FREE training for the community.

The National Council for Mental Wellbeing’s Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) course teaches how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders in youth.

This free, 5.5-hour training gives adults who work and interact with youth the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to children and adolescents (ages 6-18) who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.

➡️ 2 hours of online self-paced pre-work must be completed prior to the class.

Max class size: 30, lunch provided, registration required.
