Coach Dick Vermeil is a former NFL head coach known for his emotional leadership style and remarkable turnarounds of struggling teams. He began his NFL head coaching career with the Philadelphia Eagles in 1976, leading them to a Super Bowl appearance in 1980. After a 15-year hiatus from coaching, he returned to the NFL to lead the St. Louis Rams to a Super Bowl victory in the 1999 season. Vermeil later coached the Kansas City Chiefs before retiring in 2005. He is widely respected for his dedication to players, intense work ethic, and ability to inspire teams, earning him a place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2022.
