The Australian Hard Enduro Championship heads to Queensland MAY 23 & 24 for Round 2 – Murrumba Madness, just a short drive from Esk, with stunning views over the surrounding hills and valley.
Back for its second year, Murrumba is already known as one of the most scenic – and brutal – venues on the calendar.
Expect rocky creek beds and boulder gardens, steep technical climbs and descents, tight single track and faster flowing link sections for passing.
In 2025, Ruben Chadwick dominated the main race with a huge gap, and 2026’s Round 2 is tipped to be an early turning point in the title chase for the Gold and top Silver riders.
Reports from 2025 described the terrain as brutally rocky and tyre-shredding, demanding fresh tyres and mousses.
Many riders were reaching for Cramp Fixx from Enduro Gear to fight arm pump – the same product used by dual national champion Anthony Solar.
The venue was called “technical and unforgiving” with dry ground, frosty mornings and no room for mistakes, rewarding trials skills, fitness and smart line choice.
Format:
Saturday – Race One
• Sets Sunday start orders and gives riders a taste of the terrain.
Sunday – Main Race
• Multi-lap race over the full 14–15km course
• Long duration, with big gaps opening in Gold and Silver, especially on the climbs
5 MAIN CLASSES:
GOLD • SILVER • BRONZE • HIERARCHY LADIES • JUNIORS
With sweep riders on course and clearly marked, easy-to-follow tracks, you can relax and enjoy a full weekend of dirt bikes, mates and fun. Enduro Gear will be on site all weekend with quality riding gear, bike products and event merch, with a portion of sales going straight back into supporting and growing Murrumba Madness.
This is the event. Don’t miss it.
