DCLXtra featuring Drew Nugent and the Midnight Society

Come join us at the Glen Echo Spanish Ballroom for the last DCLXtra of 2025! DCLX is pleased to be bringing Drew Nugent and The Midnight Society for an evening of Hot Jazz and cool dance moves (dancing provided by you!).

Drew Nugent is a particularly special musician well versed in piano trumpet melodica and teapot (yes teapot) sometimes simultaneously! Drew and his Midnight Society play what is known as Hot Jazz/trad Jazz or more well known as the popular music for barrelhouses and speakeasies ranging from the Roaring Twenties up through the early 40s. They combine authentic old school music history and a little Vaudeville and shenanigans wherever they go. Drew and his Midnight Society band can be heard on eight records and seen at a wide variety of events and venues from Philly to New York to Hearst Castle!

9:00pm - 11:59pm: swing dancing to excellent live music
