"The Man Who Shot J. P. Morgan" tells the gripping true story of Erich Muenter, a Harvard professor who vanished after his wife’s suspicious death, reemerged under a new identity as Frank Holt, and later attempted to assassinate financier J. P. Morgan Jr. Amid a Capitol bombing and rising fears before World War I, Muenter’s web of false identities and radical motives stunned the nation.

Mary Noé is a lawyer, writer, and professor at St. John’s University. After high school, she worked for the FBI and later became the only female bus driver among 700 men at Varsity Transit, sparking a gender discrimination case. A magna cum laude graduate of Brooklyn College and St. John’s Law, she has served as an administrative law judge and an Impartial Hearing Officer under IDEA.
