The retreat will be held at University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Outpatient Care Center Courtney Conference Center. Doors open at 9 AM. Event starts at 9:30 AM.

Question Persuade Refer Suicide Prevention Training
Host: Black People Die By Suicide Too Team

Info: QPR stands for “Question, Persuade, Refer.” The goal of this program is to teach individuals to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and effectively intervene. This two-hour virtual or in-person training will cover how to question, persuade, and refer someone who may be suicidal, how to get help for yourself or learn more about preventing suicide, the common causes of suicidal behavior, the warning signs of suicide, and how to get help for someone in a crisis.
