If you haven't signed up for the Eversource Hartford Marathon but still want to help, we have a perfect opportunity to join us "virtually". We will be meeting up at Riverfront Park in Glastonbury to do a 5K on October 12 at 9am. Bring your dog-friendly dog and get out to support us.
You can also sign up for the Virtual 5K and do this from anywhere - as long as it's the Marathon weekend (Oct. 11-12).
With your registration fee of $47 and minimum fundraising goal of $50 you will get a:
- Dog Star technical wicking shirt suitable for wearing for all your outdoor activities
- Hartford Marathon technical wicking shirt

FAQs
1. What if I don’t have a dog that wants to walk 3.1 miles? If you are already a kennel volunteer, please consider taking a kennel dog for a field trip! They will love the day out. Not a volunteer? Apply at DogStarRescue.org.
2. What if I have a dog that doesn't want to walk with friends or 9am is just too early for you? You can walk with your pup in your own neighborhood! The only requirement is to walk 3.1 miles Saturday and Sunday October 11th or 12th and log it into your online registration account before the end of day Monday.
3. What is a virtual 5KTechnically this is part of the Hartford Marathon events but it's "virtual" because it can be done anywhere!
