Join us for BioBlitz 2026 on Earth Day! 🌎
Hosted by Rowan University’s School of Earth & Environment within the College of Science & Mathematics, BioBlitz 2026 invites the campus and local community to explore and document the biodiversity of Rowan’s Glassboro campus.
A BioBlitz is a collaborative, time-bound effort to identify as many plants and animals as possible within a set area. Think of it as a community-powered outdoor scavenger hunt rooted in science.
Participants will use the iNaturalist app to record species found throughout Rowan Woods and surrounding campus areas. The data collected supports student research, sustainability initiatives, and campus planning efforts.
Open to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members. No prior experience necessary.
