The Hot Rods for Heroes Cruise isn’t just another car cruise — it’s part of Heroes Weekend at Sandbox KC, honoring Kansas City’s fallen first responders and raising funds for SAFE (Surviving Spouse and Family Endowment Fund).

When tragedy strikes, SAFE steps in — delivering a $40,000 check within 48 hours and continued support so no family faces it alone. Every car, every $5 donation helps keep this mission alive.
What to Expect:
- $5 Donation Request per vehicle goes directly to SAFE
- Park & Show Only – no awards, just community and cars
- All Makes & Models Welcome - if you've got wheels, you're in!
- Hungry? Amazing brunch specials inside Sandbox 10 AM–1 PM
- 50/50 Pot Raffle – must be present to win
- Character Drawings and other fun stuff for the kids
