This group is for anyone interested in exploring different schools of psychology, especially psychoanalysis and humanistic psychology. We’ll dive into readings by influential psychologists like Karen Horney and Erik Fromm in psychoanalysis, and Carl Rogers in humanistic psychology—two fascinating perspectives and helpful for self-development.

These schools of thought emphasise the capability, potential, and responsibility each individual has to understand and develop themselves. Psychology is diverse, and no single approach works for everyone, so exploring different ideas together can deepen our understanding of ourselves and others.

Please note, we don’t have a formal background in psychology; we simply enjoy reading and discussing these topics.
This is not a professional therapy group, and any insights or advice should be taken with an open mind rather than as expert guidance.
