Tairāwhiti Environment Centre in partnership with MyImprint, Tahu and The Chamber of Commerce presents Green Drinks. A monthly networking event where we discuss sustainability topics.
Each free event features special guests from within the sustainability space, plus the free time to mingle and meet like-minded people
This event is for:
- Businesses undertaking or interested in undertaking sustainability initiatives
- Sustainability professionals who want to network with others in their field
- Ecologists, NGO's, and others working for te Taiao
- Community members
This month we are joined by Sam Morgan, Technical Principal - Coastal Adaptation at WSP, to talk about the impacts of climate change on Tairāwhiti beaches and coastlines. He will discuss the positive and negative impacts (e.g., erosion) that are affecting your local surf break, beachfront, or coastline. A must-hear for businesses that rely on tourism or are operating on the coastline, and community members who actively engage with our beaches and ocean.
