This year marks a milestone, 150 years of tradition, community, and celebrating the very best of town and country life. From the early days of horse-drawn wagons to today’s rides, parades, and competitions, the Show has always been about bringing people together.
Over two fun-filled days, you’ll experience everything the Poverty Bay A&P Show is renowned for throughout New Zealand, including:
Equestrian showing, dressage, carriage (North Island champs) & jumping
Speed shearing, shearing & wool classing
Wood chopping & fencing
Dog trialling, dancing & debating
Goats and sheep competitions
The popular Farmyard with animals, reptiles, birds & poultry
The iconic Grand Parade
Main arena entertainment (Saturday afternoon)
200+ trade exhibits and the biggest range of thrilling rides & sideshows from Mahons Amusements.
