Sparkle The Park & Project Shine On Official Lighting Ceremony

On Saturday, November 29th the Girard Square will shine bright at the Official Lighting Ceremony for Sparkle The Park and Project Shine On. Beginning at 5:00pm community members can take a walk through the Candyland Winter Wonderland. There will be free games and prizes for the kids, free hot chocolate, magical photo opportunities, and even Santa himself will be in attendance to visit with the local children and listen to their Christmas wishes! Ashley Beal Photography will be on hand to snap free pictures of each child with Santa. At 6:00pm we will have our Official Lighting Ceremony and we hope community members will join us to watch this wonderful holiday moment that will make Girard shine bright! The games, Santa, and all the fun will continue after the lighting ceremony until 7:00pm. Let’s gather as a community to see the Christmas decorations and lights “Sparkle The Park” and “Shine On!”
