AVA’s Art Labs are a free monthly workshop series designed to support artists beyond the canvas. Whether you’re a hobbyist or a professional, these sessions focus on the essential (but often overlooked) skills that help creatives thrive—like talking about your work, building an online presence, setting prices, overcoming creative blocks, and more.
Each lab blends practical tools, creative mindset support, and peer connection, offering a space to grow not just as an artist, but as a creative thinker, communicator, and entrepreneur. Each session takes place at AVA Art Center.
Social Media Storytelling

Focus: Teach artists how to build a loyal following by crafting compelling content that connects emotionally and converts passively. Most artists struggle with what to say online. They either overshare, undersell, or post randomly. This lab teaches a content framework that helps artists turn their process and personality into powerful storytelling assets that build trust and attract buyers/followers.
Outcome: Artists leave with a repeatable content system that turns their art + voice into an authentic online presence that draws interest and drives sales.
