A Blue Christmas

–A Service of Lamentation, Healing & Hope–

We invite you to join those also amidst loss, loneliness, suffering at this time of year–on the longest night of the year in the northern hemisphere–at a time when secular society puts on a joyful–though often fictitious– face, I invite you to a service of lamentation, healing, and hope, to this service where the Word of God will engulf us with its healing salve, to this service of anointing with olive oil, to this service of the Lord’s Supper. Come as you are, bringing with you whatever lays heavily upon your heart, body, and soul, to receive the Holy Spirit’s ministering to you via the Holy Scriptures.
