The way you present the text in your book can either alienate or compel readers' emotionally, even subconsciously. So, let's discuss the craft of formatting as you type this month. Techniques to consider:
• Do you know the keyboard commands to center text on the page?
• Do you know how to use Word's Ruler for margins and indenting?
• When do you use double quotation marks versus single?
• Do you italicize movie and book titles or put them in quotes?
• How do you set up block quotes?
• What else do you want to know?
