Wascally Wabbits and How to Eat Them with Charissa Ruth from Syggelekokle Farm
Location: Lodge Kitchen
Ever wonder what rabbit tastes like? Join Farmer Charissa from Syggelekokle Farm as she covers the history of rabbit consumption, the challenges of raising meat rabbits, and the nutritional and sustainable benefits of eating rabbit. Farmer Charissa will demonstrate dressing a rabbit and then we’ll finish the workshop by enjoying rabbit pie made by Lou Pie Guy with rabbits from Syggelekokle Farm.
How to Host an Italian Dinner Party with Jen Saffron of Sprezzatura

Italians are known for the art of making something look effortless – let us show you how to be at ease while hosting a delicious dinner, showcasing your own multi-course Italian meal! From planning to shopping to creating, serving, and savoring a classic Italian dinner, participants will learn the art of antipasti, aperitivo, and prima patti all the way to desserts and cheese plates, tasting samples along the way in this culinary and cultural exploration of Italian cuisine and hospitality. You’ll leave with pro tips, a plan for hosting a party for 8, plus a menu of your own making - get ready to host a gorgeous dinner party!
Interwoven: Willow Weaving & Community Cultivation with Molly Draper of Tiny Forest Coalition

Join us for a cozy afternoon of willow weaving, where hands meet fiber and community reconnects with the land. Using willow from Foggy Blossom Farm, we’ll craft wall hangings or window ornaments while exploring the cultural and ecological roots of this beautiful, versatile plant. Alongside a gentle demo and open crafting time, you’ll enjoy conversations about agroforestry, art, and caring for the earth. Each guest will leave with their own handmade weaving project and a resource booklet filled with weaving tips, farm connections, and inspiration to keep the creativity growing.

Join us for this hands-on, 2-hour workshop where we’ll explore how fresh salsa can transform everyday ingredients into flavorful, healthy meals. In this session, we’ll prepare two delicious, fall-inspired recipes that highlight salsa as a key ingredient:

White Bean Chicken Chili (plus a fully vegan version)

My Compost Brings all the Worms to the Yard with Jess Kusten of Worm Return
Location: Lodge Patio
Worms are multitalented creatures. Learn how to harness their power in Worm Return’s 90 minute workshop! With the right knowledge, worm care can be easy and low maintenance. Together, we will assemble our own worm bins to take home, and learn how to keep our worms happy and pooping. The workshop will include instruction in feeding worms, harvesting and storing your castings, casting application for the garden, and a plethora of worm facts. Through this exercise, you will learn not only about a worm’s role in your home, but in nature.
