Are you interested in getting your Tennessee Armed Security Guard license? If so, this class is what you need. Our Certified Trainers will guide you through the process, while teaching you the roles and responsibilities of Armed Guards, Tennessee laws as the pertain to Armed Security Guards, First Aid/CPR and, of course firearms training, including deadly force. When you complete this class, you will have met/exceeded all the state requirements to obtain your license.

Monday October 20
0830-1200: General Guard Training and Test
1300-1700: Begin Armed Guard Training-classroom
Tuesday October 21
0830-1200: Finish Armed Guard classroom session and Test
1200-1700: Optional but not required First Aid/CPR and Stop
The Bleed including tourniquet training. This is a
separate class and can be paid for at class time.
Wednesday October 22
0830-1200: Dry Fire drills including loading, unloading, clearing
malfunctions, field stripping and maintenance of the
handgun.
1300-1700: Optional but not required Less Lethal Force (Taser
Operator) class. This is a separate class and can be
paid for at class time.
Thursday October 23
0830-1200: Range Qualifications.
1300-1700: Range training Optional but not required. This is a
separate class and can be paid for at class time.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
1. Full Size or Compact Handgun that you will be carrying on
on-duty. By state law you must qualify with the handgun
you will be carrying on duty.
These are some Examples:
Glock 19
Sig Sauer P320 compact
Smith & Wesson M&P compact
2. At least a Level 1 holster to fit your weapon.
3. 3 Magazines and a magazine holder. We will work with a
minimum of 2 magazines.
4. 50-100 rounds of range ammo (fmj)
5. You must wear pants with belt loops to class and to training.
We do not allow open toed shoes. You may wear short or long
sleeve shirts but they cannot be low cut and must be able to
be tucked in.
6. Eye and Ear Protection if you have it.
What you will receive:
1. State Training Certificate to be uploaded when completing
the online application
2. A guide to what to do next in your journey into the Security
field.
3. Should you elect to take the ENTIRE course, you will receive
a Certificate of completion showing you have completed a
40 hour Armed Security Officer Course given by 901FT.
4. If you elect to take the additional First Aid/CPR class, your
state certificate will be updated to show the additional
classification.
5. If you elect to take the less lethal training, you will receive
a training certificate and a wallet size card, indicating you
have received the training.
6. NO MATTER WHAT, YOU WILL HAVE RECEIVED THE BEST TRAINING POSSIBLE FROM THE BEST TRAINERS IN THE BUSINESS.
