The event culminates with the ritualistic burning of 'The Man' on Saturday, August 30, and the Temple Burn on Sunday, August 31 - moments of collective catharsis that symbolize transformation and renewal. Black Rock City follows a circular design with streets named like a clock from 2:00 to 10:00, creating a temporary utopia where commercial transactions are prohibited and everything operates on gifting and community participation.
