Community Update – Halt the BPP Blueprint Data Center Project
Hey y’all! First off, thank you to everyone who’s joined this group and stayed with us. It’s been a little quiet recently, but that’s because things have been happening behind the scenes. Now—it’s time to rally.
A lawsuit was filed by 5 residents against BPP Blueprint based on deed restrictions requiring the land to be used as parkland. There’s an injunction in place, and work has been halted until October 15th.
Our next big step is to pack the courtroom. Let’s show the judge how important this issue is to our community and support our southside neighbors.
 Court Date: September 29th
 Time: 9:00 AM
Where: 395th District Court, Judge Larson
405 Martin Luther King, Georgetown, TX 78626
Pamela and Carrie will be canvassing 1/2 Royal and surrounding neighborhoods, and we’d love more folks to join in. We’re also organizing rides for anyone who needs transportation to court.
 Here’s how you can help:
• Volunteer to drive or coordinate rides
• Help canvass door-to-door and spread the word
• Share this info with groups you’re part of (coffee meetups, book clubs, churches, etc.)
• Be willing to attend a group meeting to personally share the information
The more personal and direct the outreach, the stronger we’ll be. Let’s make sure every seat in that courtroom is filled.
Support our southside family. Let’s stand together.
