In the Heights

In the Heights is a musical with concept, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton) and a book by Quiara Alegría Hudes. The story is set over the course of three days, involving characters in the largely Dominican American neighborhood of Washington Heights in Upper Manhattan. To honor the authors’ vision and to clearly and appropriately tell the story, the roles will be cast according to the character definitions as written in the script. Directed by Felipe Garcia and music direction by Xavier Jaramillo.
