Car seat safety checks

TidalHealth Nanticoke’s Trauma Department will conduct car seat safety inspections from 3 to 6 pm Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, at Crossroad Community Church, 20684 State Forest Road, Georgetown, DE 19947.

These car seat safety inspections are a free service provided by certified child passenger safety technicians (CPSTs) to ensure your child’s car seat is properly installed; appropriate for your child’s height, weight and age; and used correctly according to manufacturer and safety guidelines. The latest research from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) shows that over 50% of car seats are installed incorrectly.
