60th Anniversary of Squash in Guyana

Dear Fellow Guyana Squash Alumnus,
The Guyana Squash Association is excited to announce a Celebration of Squash in Guyana to mark the 60th anniversary of squash when it was first introduced to the Georgetown Club in 1965. We hope you and your families can join us for a weekend of celebration of the sport, our incredible accomplishments to date - of which you have all played a key role - and if for no other reason, a reunion weekend to rekindle old friendships and create new ones; with all of us coming together with the common bond of having shared this amazing sport with each other.
Scheduled for September 26-28th, 2025, we are planning to provide a presentation of the history of the sport, unveil the long and distinguished list of past National Champions as well as to induct the first class to the Guyana Squash Hall of Fame. Moreso, the weekend will be filled with many social events (and even some squash!) to give us all a chance to get reacquainted. Your collective memories and history of the sport is invaluable to us as a squash community.
Please Save the Date and over the coming months, we will be providing updates on our planned activities. We sincerely hope that you all can come and share in this inaugural event representing a key milestone in the history and development of the game in Guyana.
