Artist Talk: Roeland Tweelinckx & Samuel Saelemakers

Artist talk with Roeland Tweelinckx in the framework of his solo exhibition at Ontsteking, in conversation with Samuel Saelemakers.

Samuel Saelemakers is curator of the Art in the City at the Middelheim Museum in Antwerp. From 2012 to 2019, he was curator at Witte de With Centre for Contemporary Art, Rotterdam (since 2021 Kunstinstituut Melly). In his current position, Saelemakers works primarily on artistic and social themes such as representation, monumentality and autonomy. In recent years, he has collaborated with artists including Iván Argote, Sammy Baloji, Lili Dujourie, Mekhitar Garabedian, Ken Lum and Sharon Van Overmeiren.
