Join the Pathfinders for the second annual Genesee Valley Challenge.
This is a self-supported bicycle tour done in the spirit of Randonneuring events, where riders are given a time limit and a route and the rest is up to them.
Our path, barring some final minor tweaks, will be nearly identical to last year in terms of offroad sections, detours, and nonsense to navigate.
The Rules:
- Riders must complete the route within the 32 hour time limit.
- Riders must procure provisions in towns en route, or pack it.
- Camping is encouraged for anyone who averages <10mph
- All riders finishing after 9pm Sunday evening DNF
The Route:
-140 miles, +4,750' climbing, -7000' descent

Mostly road riding, with some trails, singletrack, dirt roads, and hike-a-bike sections to keep you on your toes.
Great primitive camping spots available around the midpoint in Genesee Valley Wildlife Management area with ample space to camp, filter water from the river, etc. There is also a lean to here as well just off the FLT you can use with a privy.
Last year, our very own Dan B. got the best time of just 11h 55m.
