Start Helming

Start Crewing will take you through the basics of sailing a keelboat, including boat handling, safety and sailing theory.

Dates: Sun 22 Feb 2026 & Sun 01 Mar 2026

Time: 9:00am - 3:00 pm

Cost: $360.00 per person

RGYC Members receive 10% on all Learn to Sail courses. If you have forgotten your unique member code please contact the Sailing Office for assistance.

Boat type: RS21 Keelboats

Participants who complete an Australian Sailing accredited learn to sail course are eligible for a one time, three month honorary membership at RGYC, beginning from the course completion date. This offer excludes Discover Sailing experiences, powerboat programs, and coaching courses, and is only available to individuals who have never previously been RGYC members.
