New to patchwork? This class is made just for you!
Perfect for the absolute beginner, this class gently introduces you to the fundamentals of rotary cutting and machine piecing — all while you create a beautiful, beginner-friendly quilt top. With no triangles, no tricky seams, and plenty of step-by-step guidance, success is absolutely within reach!
By the end of the class, you'll have completed your quilt top — a lovely lap quilt or bed topper — and gained confidence in your cutting and piecing skills. (Please note: machine quilting — the process of joining your quilt top, batting, and backing — is taught separately).
What to bring:
You’ll need to bring your own sewing machine and basic quilting tools. Don’t worry if you're unsure what you need — we’re happy to guide you!
Fabric selection made easy:
Class fee does not include fabric. A key part of quilting is choosing fabrics that complement each other. To help you with this, we offer a one-on-one in-store fabric consultation before your class. Simply call us to book your appointment — we’ll help you pick the perfect fabrics to make your quilt truly shine.
