In this session, participants explore the foundations of GA8 and strengthen their capacity to develop AQF‑aligned Indigenous perspectives.
Participants will learn to:
• Privilege Indigenous voice,
• Adopt strength‑based approaches,
• Promote ethical engagement with Indigenous perspectives.
In this session, participants will explore culturally safe teaching and learning principles and practices.
• Delivering GA8 content in both online and in‑person classrooms,
• Applying sensitive content disclaimers,
• Managing challenging conversations,
• Providing informed feedback on GA8‑related assessments.
Unit Chairs, teaching academics, marking academics, curriculum designers and anyone involved in developing or delivering GA 8 Indigenous perspectives in curriculum.
Participants will leave with strengthened cultural intelligence, enhanced professional capability, practical teaching strategies, and a suite of resources to support the ethical embedding of Indigenous perspectives within their teaching practice.
