WALK DETAILS
This walk is approximately 7km (allow up to 3 hours).
We will walk from Warren Reservoir to Hale Conservation Park where will will search for wildflowers along this beautiful trail. Stunning views await us!
This is a moderate walk along trails, of which some are rocky and undulated. Hiking poles could be useful if you have them.
MEET SPOT DETAILS/TIME
Please arrive at 8.15am for an 8.30am start.
Meet in the Warren Reservoir carpark which is located on Warren Road, approximately 3km from Williamstown.
There are toilets located here.

Don’t forget to print off and bring along your completed I.C.E. medical details form, which can be downloaded from our website.
If you are unable to print, your leader will have some spare forms with them on the morning of the walk.

If the weather forecast is for extreme weather or a fire ban is issued for the Adelaide Hills, this walk will be cancelled the day before and fully refunded.
We will only cancel last minute (by text message and email) if there is a severe weather warning/thunderstorm warning or weather events that are likely to impact on the safety of our leaders and walkers.
Due to the variability of the weather, the following items will be needed:
- daypack/backpack to carry personal items
- 2 litres of water
- sun protection (hat, sunnies, suncream)
- wet weather gear (check the forecast and plan accordingly!)
- blister kit/personal medication
- high energy snacks/fruit
- boots/comfortable walking shoes with good grip
- layerable clothing for before/during/after the walk (eg. jumper/jacket)
- walking poles (optional)
Please ensure you have the minimum gear required as no refunds are possible after booking. If you arrive underprepared without wet weather clothing or the gear listed above, our Leaders have the right to ask you not to walk with us for safety reasons.
Note: All our leaders carry group first aid kits, emergency communication devices and are qualified bushwalking leaders.
AFTER WALK COFFEE
Join us after the walk for a coffee/hot drink or milkshake at Michelle's Gourmet Kitchen, Queen Street, Williamstown.
OTHER INFORMATION
Our walks are all about fun, fitness and friendship - not a personal training session. If we cannot walk and talk at the same time we are walking too fast! And we never leave anyone behind.
Minimum age requirement for our walks is 15 years old (as long they are accompanied by a supervising adult). Please check with us if unsure.
For the walk to go ahead, we need a minimum of 4 walkers registered by the registration closing time (5pm the day before the walk). If a walk is cancelled due to the minimum number not being met, participants who have registered will be notified by text the evening before the walk and a refund will be given.
During our walks, photos may be taken for use publicly on our website, social media channels and e-newsletter. If you do not wish for your photo to be taken/used, please notify us via email -
