On December 31, 2024, I was diagnosed with an oligodendroglioma—a rare, low-grade brain tumor that spans much of the left side of my brain. Despite this, I feel strong, clear-headed, and fully present in my life as a husband, dad, runner, and cook.
Thanks to a breakthrough treatment approved just last year, Voranigo, I manage the tumor with a daily pill and no side effects. My first MRI showed no new growth, and I remain hopeful as I head into my next scan.
This diagnosis paused my career, but it sparked a new purpose. My wife and I now advocate for more research, better treatments, and greater awareness of this rare disease.
That’s why we’re organizing this race, for the 25,000+ Americans living with oligodendroglioma who may not have access to the latest therapies or trials. Proceeds will benefit Oligo Nation, a nonprofit dedicated to funding a cure.
Join us…walk, run, or cheer from the sidelines. Every step brings us closer.
