🍎 En collaboration avec Vision Gaspé Percé Now et Nourrir Notre Monde Côte-de-Gaspé, on célèbre l’arrivée de l’automne, et l’abondance de la saison - on en profite pour faire un clin d’oeil à la Journée des centres communautaires de loisirs (2 octobre), qui se déroule cette année sous le thème de la pomme.
Au programme :
🍂 Marché communautaire d’automne – Que vous soyez maraîcher, jardinier amateur, cueilleur, ou que vous ayez des petits trésors à passer au suivant, réservez votre table maintenant, les places partent vite! (5) tables sur 15 sont réservées aux produits des récoltes. Contribution de 10$ par table.
🫙 Cannage & fumaison – L’équipement sera fourni, et un bénévole sera sera sur place pour vous accompagner. Nous fournirons les ingrédients de base (sucre, vinaigre, etc.) - amenez vos produits et vos pots masson! Les transformations seront mises en commun.
🔥 Démonstration de fabrication de cidre de feu avec Tesia Hackett (11h-12h).
🥘 Potluck communautaire & jam musical (12h-13h) – On mange en musique! Amenez vos instruments pour participer à un jam de musique traditionnel pendant le lunch communautaire.
Le mot d’ordre est d’apporter un plat à partager en utilisant les produits du jardin (ou priorisant les produits de saison). Les Jardins Collectifs Douglas contribueront un plat préparé à base de leurs récoltes, et Vision Gaspé Percé Now préparera un cipaille traditionnel. À vous de nous surprendre!
🍏 Fabrication de jus de pomme à la presse hydraulique – Apportez pommes & pots (13h-17h). Le jus produit peut être congelé.
🎨 Pour les familles : bar à pommes caramélisées, photobooth et apple printing sur tissu.

🍎 In collaboration with Vision Gaspé Percé Now and Nourrir Notre Monde Côte-de-Gaspé, we are celebrating the arrival of fall and the abundance of the season—and taking the opportunity to give a nod to Community Recreation Centers Day (October 2), which this year has an apple theme.
On the program:
🍂 Fall Community Market—Whether you're a market gardener, amateur gardener, forager, or have little treasures to pass on, reserve your table now, as spaces are going fast! Five of the 15 tables are reserved for harvest products. Contribution of $10 per table.
🫙 Canning & smoking – Equipment will be provided, and a volunteer will be on hand to assist you. We will provide the basic ingredients (sugar, vinegar, etc.) – bring your produce and mason jars! The preserves will be shared.
🔥 Fire cider making demonstration with Tesia Hackett (11 a.m. to 12 p.m.).
🥘 Community potluck & musical jam (12 p.m. to 1 p.m.) – Let's eat to music! Bring your instruments to participate in a traditional music jam during the community lunch.
The idea is to bring a dish to share using garden produce (or prioritizing seasonal produce). Les Jardins Collectifs Douglas will contribute a dish prepared with their harvest, and Vision Gaspé Percé Now will prepare a traditional cipaille. It's your turn to surprise us!
🍏 Apple juice making with a hydraulic press – Bring apples & jars (1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.). The juice produced can be frozen.
🎨 For families: caramelized apple bar, photo booth, and apple printing on fabric.
🍁 Come celebrate, share, and taste autumn with music and community!
