Considering starting a vegetable garden or landscaping project but not sure where to begin? Then join Rebecca Koetz, Lake County Urban Agriculture Extension Educator, and Lynn Barbee, master gardener and horticulturist, for this live Zoom session! Rebecca will discuss basic vegetable garden considerations, including outdoor gardening methods, mapping your garden, planning the planting calendar, choosing seeds/starters, and preparing the garden soil. Lynn, a 30-year veteran of the retail garden industry, will provide answers to the most common questions she receives at the garden center this time of year, including fertilizers, W**d prevention and control, reading a seed package, and more!
