Colorful Autumn Hike at Mohonk: Labyrinth, Lemon Squeeze and Tower!

Back by popular demand! Our Mohonk hike scramble returns during peak Fall Foliage Saturday, October 11, 2025!

This one of a kind hike with rock scrambles galore. It is your adult playground and canvas of colors for an unequalled outdoor experience, and yes there is a waterfall along hike!

This event is followed by a refreshing apres hike social bite and brew before heading home! An impressive FULL day out in nature and a great adventure. This is the last Mohonk hike at Labyrinth for this year.

Date: Saturday, October 11, 2025

Time: 9:30 AM in Split Rock parking lot on Clove Road for Mohonk Preserve

Cost:

1. Free Parking
2. $15 Trail use fee per person paid to Park Ranger at Gate

Distance: Approx. ~9+ Miles

Vertical Gain: Under 800' with rock scrambles and boulder caves

Terrain: Mix of carriage trails, primitive trails, rock scrambles, sweeping vistas, boulder fields, boulder caves, and a ladder to the heavens - we have it all!

Level: No beginner hikers, no pets

RIDESHARE - you will be assigned based in order of available seats. Rideshare contributions are $30 CASH per person. Please only request a ride if you are committed to attending as holding a space for you may displace another hiker who really wants to go - this is one of the most popular local hikes in our portfolio.

RAIN CANCELS - It rains sometimes despite my connnection with Mother Nature. You will be notified via text or email (depending on time frame) provided through the contact information you provide at registration on Friday prior to event.

FOLLOW-UP: Emails will be sent out Thursday evening via email with rideshare connections and hike status details. Your cell phone number is used if there are last minute changes and updates. Cell service lot and parking lot in area is lacking.

Bring:

• Hiking shoes or boots
• 2-3+ liters of hydration depending on how much you drink when vigorously working out
• Lunch (if you're joining us afterward snacks will suffice)
• Daypack to leave your hands free on scrambles
• Cash for trail fee, rideshare (if applicable), and apres hike bite and brew (if joining us)
• Layer to keep you warm in case of cooling from temps or wind

OPTIONAL (not needed but something to think about):

• Climbing or biking gloves
• Camera
• Bug repellent (last week the gnats were out)
• Hat
• Mohonk member pass (if you have one)
• Spare shirt/top for after the hike (very handy)
• Spare shoes for the comfortable ride up and back
• ID if you intend to throw back some brews
• Emergency meds if needed e.g. epi needle

REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Please let us know if you have a car and can offer ride shares (how many passengers and from where are you driving); or are a passenger and need a ride (each participant must register individually here; $30 cash donation to the driver for the ride.
