The Garden Grove Lodge No. 351 is delighted to invite you to our upcoming Red Cross Blood Drive, which will take place on December 20, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This significant event will be held at our lodge located at 11270 Acacia Pkwy, Garden Grove, CA 92840.
As you may know, blood donations are crucial for saving lives and supporting those in need. By participating in our blood drive, you have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of others. Your selfless act will provide hope and healing to those who require transfusions due to medical emergencies, surgeries, and chronic illnesses.
In collaboration with the American Red Cross, we aim to promote the importance of blood donation and encourage our community to come together for this worthy cause. Notes:
The American Red Cross must collect nearly 13,000 blood donations every day for patients in need.
Blood products are perishable and cannot be manufactured; they can only come from volunteer donors.
16-year-old students are eligible to donate blood with a signed parental consent.
Cancer patients use nearly one quarter of the blood supply – more than patients fighting any other disease.
A single car accident victim can require as many as 100 pints of blood.
A diverse blood supply is important! A patient is more likely to find a compatible blood match from a donor of the same race or a similar ethnic group.
