Poetry open mic night

This showcase is to make a spot light for community voices. An open mic night for folks to share their poetry or contemplations, either your own or written by someone you admire. The intention is to make space to hear some of the things that may have been written in the darker months and bring them out to the light as well as inspire and empower each other with words and tender listening. Come to listen or come to read.

There will be a warm meal prepared that’s TBA
As well as Faralya Life will be there to serve Turkish coffee and tea. Available by purchase

$10 cover at the door, so SoRa doesn’t have to pay to rent the space from their own pocket.

Night layout
6:30-7 - Sign-up and settle
7-7:45 - first round
7:45-8 - 15 min break
8-8:30 - second round
