(Book Launch: Abey Rae Scaglione – 'Radical Farm: Animals, Food and Our Future'
'Radical Farm' explores why well-sourced animal foods are good for our health, the environment and animal welfare. The second part of this book is a homesteading guide that shares advice and personal stories about raising animals, gardening, cheesemaking and preserving. Radical Farm also includes many delicious recipes to help people enjoy a more nutrient dense, whole foods diet. This book will educate and inspire!
Abey Rae Scaglione raises sheep, cattle, turkeys, and chickens, as well as grows vegetables, fruit and medicinal plants at Ruckle Heritage Farm on Salt Spring Island in British Columbia,
Canada.
