Voices on the Wind

Voices on the Wind at the Beothuk Interpretation Centre is happening on Saturday, September 6 starting at 1pm. This year we are excited to be featuring Wejikmkik - a Mi'kmaq family highlighting their traditional dance of fancy shawl, jingle and grass dancing while drumming in song. This is a free event and all are welcome!

Voices on the Wind is an exciting collaboration with our Indigenous communities, a gathering & celebration of our ongoing human connections to the Beothuk people. Visit our spirit garden & join us as we honor the Beothuk spirit through dancing, singing, drumming, feasting, & teachings.
