Wild Atlantic Music Tours is thrilled to announce a tour with Talisk in 2025 … dates are October 25th – November 1st . Mohsen Amini, Benedict Morris and Charlie Galloway will lead our musical journey along the Wild Atlantic Way … starting in Clare, we will then head north to Mayo, Sligo and Galway.
Talisk is one of the most talked-about folk bands of the 21st century. The band have been tearing apart stereotypes and redefining the genre for almost a decade. With over 15 million streams, 10,000 albums sold worldwide, and sold out shows across five continents – from Paris to New York, London to Tokyo, Glasgow to Vancouver – alongside headline appearances at festivals the world over, the Scottish trio have amassed a global, die-hard following. Wielding instruments that have rarely seen the likes of their music, Talisk have stacked up major awards for their explosively energetic sound – including five between BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio Scotland, and two highly coveted BBC Alba Scots Trad Music Awards.
Join Talisk and a host of friends and experience music at its best during an unforgettable trip. Meet some of the region’s finest musicians as they join Talisk for daily music sessions.
The ‘Wild Atlantic Way Tour’ is a 7 night cultural, sightseeing & musical experience ... more importantly, there will be great ‘craic’. We limit the time on the coach as we visit locations steeped in music such as Galway, Sligo and of course Ennis and Doolin in the home of Irish Trad Music, Co. Clare. Enjoy the spectacular scenery the west of Ireland has to offer and visit world famous locations such as The Cliffs of Moher, Galway City, authentic Irish castles and The Burren. Experience a warm Irish welcome in luxury 4* hotels and our very own castle along the Wild Atlantic Way.
Music and fun on the Wild Atlantic Way
Ceol agus craic ar Slí an Atlantaigh Fhiáin
The Wild Atlantic Way is a tourism trail on the West Coast of Ireland. The stunning 2,500km of coastline offers breath-taking scenery, invigorating sea swells, gastronomic gems and a warm welcoming atmosphere. The WAW is a haven for traditional Irish musicians. In every town, village and remote townland dotted along the Western Coast, there is a wealth of traditional Irish music sessions to be enjoyed. These sessions are informal and often impromptu, making the Wild Atlantic Way a little piece of music heaven
Music Tours
All our tour groups are accompanied by professional musicians. One of the highlights of each day is the ‘mini-concert’ held each evening which is dedicated to the group. These sessions will feature local musicians who will share music and stories in an informal and intimate environment. For further information on tours, please contact
