Spend the day discovering nature past and present at our largest Metro Park. Our day starts with Dale Gnidovec, curator of OSU’s Orton Geological Museum and ends with Marne Titchenell, Wildlife Program Director at OSU Extension. We’ll learn about cavity nesters, why birds are dinosaurs and test our knowledge about animal tracks and native trees. We’ll also talk about the park’s bison and may go on a hike to look for them, weather and bison location permitting. Bring your lunch and something to drink.
