Street Smart Ohio
We’re excited to share that we’ll be sponsoring the upcoming Street Smart Ohio event! This free program is presented by the Ohio High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA). The event will take place on Thursday, March 12th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at at Galion High School, located at 472 Portland Way N, Galion, OH 44833.
Joining the event will be Michael Powell and Shawn Bain. Sargent Michael N. Powell served with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office for over 32 years; Captain Shawn Bain retired after serving over 29 years with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
The program teaches professionals and community members how to identify potential drug use and examines current drug use trends.
