Annual Raise the Roof Ornament & Card Making Workshop
Saturday, December 13, @11am-1pm.
All Ages Welcome
*Youth under 8 with a participating adult.
All welcome to join and create an ornament or a card to participate in the annual Christmas auction to help raise funds for GALI and GIGARHS affordable housing societies.
There will be stations with ideas.
Some materials will be provided but feel free to bring your own special treasures to add to your project.
This workshop is by donation, ( PWYC - suggested $15)
If you enter the auction, the workshop is free.
The ornaments will decorate the trees at various locations on the island and will be available on the online Raise the Roof Christmas auction.
This all ages workshop is being hosted on the unceded, asserted & shared traditional territories of Penelakut, Lamalcha, Hwlitsum and other Hul’qumi’num and SENĆOŦEN speaking peoples, Coast Salish Peoples of Galiano, as well as the ceded territories of Tsawwassen First Nation, on what is now known as Galiano Island.
