Come and Make a cute pieced cushion of a sweet squirrel and his nut! On this 1 day class I will teach you the fundamental skills you will need to piece your little fella together. We will focus on some key skills such as reading patterns, cutting measurements, markings and of course how to piece it all together successfully. Time permitting you will complete the make into a cushion!
You will need:
• a range of autumn coloured fabrics and a fabric that will act as your background colour. Quilting cottons are just fine!
• A small piece of wadding to enable a bit of texture to be created.
• Basic haberdashery set
• Mini iron and ironing mat (not essential)
The session Includes:
• Pattern
• Tea and coffee
• Tuition
• Use of a sewing machine
• Parking

Gemini Machine Workshop
On Saturday 6th October from 9.30 til 4.3-pm
Come and learn how to use the Gemini cutting machine and prepare to make yourself the popular Pineapple Block. This is a beginner friendly workshop day truly aimed at easing you in to 2 things; making sense of the Gemini and fabric piecing. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to receive some tuition and have a go on this machine giving you the chance to 'try' before you think about spending out on the machine. Please bring your own Fabrics. I'd recommend bringing along some coordinating quilting cottons and a larger amount of solid for the backgrounds.
