Strength in Strides...Supporting Survivors One Step at a Time!

We are thrilled to announce our First Annual Strength in Strides walk to support Peaceful Paths! This brand-new fall initiative is a downtown walk to spread awareness during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

This will be a special event open to the whole community! We encourage any and all organizations, families, and businesses to join us on Sunday, October 12 at the Bo Diddley Plaza and show your support for survivors as we walk together against violence in our community! This will be a short 20-minute walk that will start and end at the Bo Diddley Plaza. There will be music, food trucks, and fun post-walk!

Make sure to wear purple or earn a free Strength in Strides T-shirt to wear during the walk! All walkers that raise $100 or more will get a free t-shirt or you can purchase a t-shirt for $25.

There is no charge to walk with us, but we do ask that you register on our website, sign a waiver, and we encourage all participants to fundraise ahead of time to support survivors! Walk details, Sponsorship opportunities, and information about how to register as a Peer-to-Peer fundraiser will be located on our event website!
