About the event

From Zika to AIDS and Back Again: Stories of Virus Research in Uganda
Dr. Julia Cummiskey, Assistant Professor in the History of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University, will share a lecture on her work using participant observations and oral histories in global health research. Refreshments provided. This event is part of the Health Science Center Library's hosting of the National Library of Medicine Traveling Exhibit, Making a World of Difference: Stories About Global Health. It is supported by the Center for the Humanities and the Public Sphere (Rothman Endowment) and is co-sponsored by Center for Arts in Medicine.
