Hail, Folk of Fornra Vé ⚔️
Many are called to the Norse path, but not all know what that call truly asks of them. Fornra Vé is pleased to announce an in-depth Ásatrú class series for those who wish to learn what Ásatrú really is—and just as importantly, what it is not. This course is designed for seekers, beginners, and the curious who want to discover whether this path truly belongs to them. This is not fantasy, cosplay, or surface-level mythology. This is a grounded, respectful exploration of modern Heathen reconstruction, rooted in history, sources, ethics, and lived practice.
What This Course Will Cover
Over 14 structured classes (45–60 minutes each) including 2 blóts, we will walk together from first understanding to confident practice, including:
• What Ásatrú is—and what it is not
• The historical sources: Eddas, sagas, archaeology, and how to use them wisely
• The Norse worldview: wyrd, ørlög, frith, honor, and luck
• The Gods—Æsir, Vanir, and others—as beings of relationship, not perfection
• Ancestors, landvættir, and spirits
• Heathen ethics and personal responsibility
• Blót and Sumbel—their meaning, structure, and proper use
• How to write and lead blóts and sumbels
• Runes: history first, modern use with care
• Seiðr, galdr, and responsible magical practice
• Hearth cult and daily practice
• Walking the Heathen path long-term with wisdom and discernment
This course will be honest, in depth, and practical. Questions are welcome. Discussion is encouraged. Critical thinking is required. No prior knowledge is needed—only sincerity and respect.
