2026 MLK Lecture
Join CAME, the African American Studies Program, and the Bob Graham Center for Public Service for this annual lecture celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Speaker: Kathi Earles, MD, Physician, Artist, and nationally recognized health-equity advocate

Dr. Earles draws on her medical training and research on health disparities to explore how extreme weather, greenhouse gases, particulate matter, and other environmental factors affect communities. She highlights the connections between climate justice and health equity and shares insights on community advocacy, sustainable clinical practices, and public-health initiatives that can support climate mitigation and community well-being.
